Thanks again for the opportunity to support this production. Please take a moment to review this checklist to make sure you have all the information you need from us to make your shoot successful.

YOUR FIRST DAY AT THUNDERSHOT

STUDIO START TIME (APPROVAL NEEDED FOR SHOOTS BEFORE 7 AM OR LATER THAN 7 PM)

Enter your call time. This is when your straight 10-hour day begins. Doors may be opened just a few minutes before the stated call time (we back-time our day to your schedule) and the clock does not stop for meals.

PARKING

Parking is free at our studio but people WILL GET TOWED BY OTHERS if they park in the wrong places. If you anticipate more than 11 vehicles, we suggest assigning the spots near the studio and requesting that others park in the overflow area.

CYC WALL DAMAGE

The most common (and expensive) type of billable damage that occurs at our studio is cracks in our curved cyc wall. The cracks are caused by people stepping on, using ladders near, or placing objects, on the curved area which cannot bear any weight.

Confirm that you will make sure all guests and crew know to keep several feet away from the curved cyc walls on the sound stage, and will not set down any items or place chairs near those areas.

LIDS ON DRINKS

Confirm guests know that drinks outside the break room need lids and/or straws.(Required)

Confirm that all studio guests know that any drinks consumed outside of the break room must have lids to prevent spills.

CATERING GUIDELINES

Who is providing the crew meals?

You are bringing in food or having it delivered.

ThunderShot is providing catering.

You are going to release the crew (minimum 1 hour).

Confirm the following:

You will provide plates, utensils, napkins, serving spoons, condiments, and any other items needed for the meal.

You will clean food service areas and spills.

You will take extra food with you or dispose of leftovers.

ThunderShot Studio Manager has been informed of all art department plans.

ART DEPARTMENT GUIDELINES

Who is providing the set and props?

You are bringing in set / props and art crew.

ThunderShot is providing set / props and art crew.

This production does not have set or props.

Confirm the following:

ThunderShot's studio manager has been advised of all art department plans.

Your crew has reviewed and agrees to abide by all Art Department requirements including:

No mechanical cutting in the studio
No spray painting of any kind inside the facility
No painting of studio floors (ThunderShot crew only)
Sets must allow for a 4 foot access to the flat floor
Absolutely no items or people can put weight on the cyc wall

CHILDREN UNDER 17

Children on set?

Yes, you will be bringing minors to the facility.

ThunderShot is an active industrial environment. Production equipment is heavy; some of it has sharp edges or gets very hot when used. The studio has finger-sized high-voltage ports in the walls and cables running across the floor. Most kids, and their parents, are not knowledgeable about set safety so we ask that you adhere to these special requirements for shoots that include children under the age of 17.

All children must be supervised by a PRODUCTION PROFESSIONAL (not just a parent) 100% of the time.
Kids love the curved cyc wall. It looks like a skateboard ramp. Please make sure they understand it breaks easily and that they MUST stay several feet away from it.
Consider designating a specific area (the break room or conference room) for the kids so they know where to go when off set.
Kids love the drink machines including just pressing buttons because it's fun. Please monitor young guests in the break room so they are only serving themselves beverages they will drink.
